Hey, I just came home from going to jury duty.  Don't know how they do it elsewhere, but all this lacked was a couple of fires, some cowboys with catch ropes, and a few branding irons.  Real round-up time.  Probably 250 or more people in a room waiting to see if their group would get called.

I've been called up several times and have never seen anyone there that I know ...until this morning.  A lady I used to work with spotted me and called out across a couple of rows of seats.

"Tom I haven't seen you in ages.  Where have you been?"

My last answer from this thread popped into my head.  "Haven't been around for about six months, Dolores.   I've been in jail down in Tijuana."

She blurted out, "Oh you liar!  Wait..............were you really?"

In the maybe ten seconds before the laughter started, you could have heard a fruit fly fart.

The last time that I had to go to Dallas for Jury duty, there was about 1,000 of us in this central jury room. I didn't see anybody I knew.

Leo, I'm the only J R that I know of and I don't live in Dallas, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

I honeymooned at a Holiday Inn Express.  The suites are very nice.

I reported for jury duty this morning...took a nice long hunk of rope, I was home by 10:45 and on my way to werk............geeeeee I didn't think that out to good did I?
