I am looking for a gunsmith who can shorten the 7 1/2 barrels of my Uberti OT's in 38sp and reinstall front sights. Please email me so we don't step on anyones toes. Please include a quote for the turnkey job. Thanks

Kinda along the same,  I gots a New Dakota in 45 Colt that I wanted to change caliber.
I have the new 38 cal. barrel and 38/357 cylinder.  If the same smith can do this as well, an estimiate would
be nice.   I gotta see if I can afford the labor/shipping costs at this time.  ;)

You want a new barrel or a liner?

Well sir, I already have the barrel and would like to use it since I already paid for it.  I'm not picky, though.  If relining is
easier, less expensive and quicker to do, then I'll go along with it.  I can always sell the barrel to help defray some of the cost.  I got this barrel several years ago, so I'm not going to feel the loss if it doesn't get used.   ;)  I also already have the cylinder so it's going to have to be fitted as well.

In the past, many asked why I don't just sell or trade for another SAA in 38/357.  Well, it's a royal pain in the tuchus to have to drive into town to the main PD, 3 TIMES, just to obtain and register one handgun.  I already got the "extra" handgun and it's already registered.   :)

Btw, I hope Goody got the help he asked for.  Sorry I kinda hijacked your thread, Goody.   :-[
