Henry feed problem

Hello Gents.

I've looked over the old threads and didn't see this problem adressed. So I had to ask because this is a real problem.

My Henry is having a real feed problem. I took it out shooting yesterday for the first time and it would fail to feed every round. I had to shake the round into the breech and then close the bolt. It fired great and was very accurate, and it extracted and ejected every spent shell without exception.

Could it be that the shape of the bullets (Remington semi-wadcutter LEAD) I was using were "hanging up" and preventing the weapon from feeding correctly?

Try Round Nose Flat Point ... RNFP I have no feed problem with either Black Hills or Ultramax
I even use low cost 250 grain Precision Ammo  Presisionammo.com

Your Problem is the wadcutters

Just take a dremel tool and round off the very sharp edges on the rear face of the barrel. Worked great for mine. Or use RNFP bullets.
