Trapdoor Springfield Line Gun

Hey all,

       I got a line on a Trapdoor Springfield Line Gun. I know the history of these, but cannot find anyone selling them to compare price ranges. This one is in great condition in the wooden crate with all of the parts and accessories. The wife actually said to me go ahead and get but... The guy was starting at $2500 US and though I have spent more on firearms I'm afraid to drop $ on something when I don't know the price range. I checked out the popular Springfield sites to no avail. Any ideas?
