 ;D  Howdy Pards!

I am a RAT.....Not a card carrying one but a RAT nontheless!  I have a pair of old model 45 CCH that are absolutely great.  I recently bought a sheriff model that has the CCH flaking off on the holster side of the gun.  Evidently had been carried a long time or stored in the holster and .....well it's a mess to put it nicely!

My question is this.....is there anyone out there redoing the fake CCH for Ruger or do I just take all the finish off and have it blued? ???

Thanks Pards!

I would check with Ruger directly.  I sent some Blackhawks & Single Sixes in once for something or other.
And they came back with the springs, grip frames and ejector housings replaced----for FREE!!!
Now I dunno if this was a fluke or I was supposed to pay, but the service & speed was great!

Once I also sent my Dad's M-77 .243 in with a cracked stock (my own fault).  And Ruger sent it back RE-BLUED and a NEW stock.  FREE AGAIN!!!

Now you know another reason why I love Ruger.
