Did you all notice that those Texas boys know how to wear a hat? Not one of their hats had a crown that looked like an Arby's Roast Beef sign. I would say they were perfect hats......So...my hat is off to them.

Actually, several of our hats are Stetsons.  Stetson still makes Boss of the Plains style hats that have a 19th century crown.  They are hard to find.   The Stetson / Resistol factory is about 8 miles from my office in Mesquite, Tx.  They have a fantastic "factory outlet" store that is open to the public.  You can get 6X Beaver hat blanks there for $50.  They usually sell overstocks and styles that don't sell well  (which includes all the 'old west' styles that we like.)  The factory outlet has a hat blocker on duty to custom shape your hat.  The store is actually overwhelming as they have 1000's of hats stacked up all over the store.

When we do get a regional match together down here, this store would be a fun diversion for the participants.

Bill,

Compliment appreciated, however I still like Arby's.   That Big Montana sandwich is one of my favorites.
