Ottawa Creek Bill

Started working on editing the 2009 NCOWS National Shoot this evening (should have the master to the duplicator in about two weeks)

One heck of a buffalo hunt, and the gunfight looks great.....got it edited down to around 15 minutes right now (we shot almost an hours length of tape) probably going to be about 12 minutes not counting the credits...

The smoke and fire was outrageous in the saloon.....and our stunt poker table worked better then expected...when Lorenzo Lain shot two bullet holes through the top...the felt cover caught on fire and the blast blew the deck of cards all over the place.....and did I mention...Trap plays one hell of a bad guy.

Add this to 10 stages of the most fun shooting I've ever seen and man what a DVD this is going to make. This is my last year to video the national shoot....I'm not going to miss out on the fun next year.

And talk about good sports.... I don't know if the posse from Texas expected it but you should have seen their faces when they had to wear a dress on one of the stages.....Colt Bluesteel liked it so much....he bought both the dresses and took them back to Texas with him.....bunch of great guys and I hope to see them next month down there in Texas, and did I mention these boys can shoot!!

The primitive camp was the best so far and the largest, books can give us the lowdown on how many primitive camps we had this year...as always...James Hunt and Monterrey Jack Brass had the most authentic camp.

I'm gonna try to get a small segment of the gunfight up by tomorrow night, think I'll show the poker table top being shot through and how Trap met his demise, so watch for it.

Great Time, and one I won't forget for a long time.

OCB:

So many thanks for the hard work you have done to get this video together for us all. The "filming" of the mini-movie was great fun and I can't wait to see the finished product. I'm sure it's gonna be super.

There aren't enough superlatives to describe what a GREAT Nationals this was. Clearly, in my book, it's the best one I've ever attended. There'll be lots more later in words, pictures, videos and the like, but for now I'll just say that I pronounce this event "the Boss."

Helping with the mini-movie, enjoying the primitive camp, & time spent with friends....these are definitely the highlights of my experience.

Trap did play one heck of a bad guy. :o

Come on now, we're just a bunch of misunderstood wayward lads....our crime?  Guilty of trying to make a living in hard times ;)
