I have big hands.  The big Roogers fit my hands pretty good.  Maybe Rosie wouldn't be so bad. . . ;) :D

You know what they say. . . . Big hands, big heart.  But no, I'd prefer the plow handles of my very old Old Armies to Rosie's love handles. . .

Now that I've had my first cup of coffee and sobriety has set in, I don't know how Rosie got in this conversation.  This is about stuff to shoot, not stuff to shoot at. .

Dick, I'm always the simple one. It sounds to me like the hammer spring has weakened or has been lightened to the point of improper functioning.  Maybe just a spring replacement will solve the problem.
I wrote this before I realized that there were two more pages and you had torn your gun down. However my thought still applies. If the previous "gunsmith" was as ham handed as you say, he could have "tuned" you hammer spring as well.

That's because the "Rooger" is a modern design and for many, myself included, has about as much sex appeal as Rosie O'Donnell for a prom date!!  ;D :D ;)

Amen, brother!
