Corn Cob Tumbler Media

Went to Pet Supplies Plus today. They have ground corn cob at 40 cents a pound. Bought $3.00 worth and used about 1/4 of that to fill the tumbler. They also have ground walnut shells. What a great bargain!!!

I love good corn cob tumbling media.  It works great to dry my brass after I tumble it in DD Ceramic Porcelain tumbling media.  Three hours in the CP media and 60 minutes in the dry corn cob stuff and I'm good to go to the loading bench with brass that sparkles brighter than new.

DD, better be careful with that shiny brass....ya don't wanna give away your position to the bad guys.  The last thing you want is for the sun to reflect off of yer shiny brass when it ejects and lays on the ground.

Ok...yer using that straight-walled 45 Colt, huh?
My 44-40s come out as clean as they went into the gun. 
The 44 Colts do come out a mght smudged though....
