I have a Navy Arms Henry marked "Manufactured by Navy Arms Company Ridgefield NJ" on the barrel.  Its serial # 59X but I can't find a date code or Uberti markings on it anywhere.  It has very few marks and they are all on the barrel.  I think its one of the early Henry repros built in the US.  If anyone can confirm or refute this I'd appreciate it.

I'm not sure if this helps but........

If assembled in the USA (whether or not the parts were made here) then it would not have foreign proofs.
I believe this was how Val started. Then they were assembled in Italy after a time. I have an 1866 that has a date code of 1966 and Italian proofs. I believe the Henry's weren't made until about 1970.

It should have the "extra screw" through the sides of the receiver and an internal (not external leaf) spring for the trigger as has been gone over here many times on this forum. If not then there is a good chance it has had markings removed by a previous owner.

Hope this helps

Yeah I read this before I posted but two things stand out.  Its not a carbine and according to the post they only made 500 rifles, mine is in the 590 serial range.   It seems to have all the odd features which is why I said its one if the US guns. Just wondering.
