I keep my Alaska Concealed handgun permit because of reciprocity and it allows me to purchase without the NICS check.  We don't need no steenkin' permits to carry concealed up here anymore. 

We've had "Vermont Carry" since 2003.

Yep! I have my Kentucky CCW and it is also good in a lot of other states. I'll probably move to Texas the latter part of this year, and then I'll have to give it up. Hope I can get one there!

In America ( Montana ) I have my permit and it allows me to carry 5 rugers, a dirk, a dagger, a black jack and a sword cane, all at the same time. But I cant carry a switch blade, my cut my self.

Here in upstate New York getting a conceled carry permit can vary from simple to impossible (don't even ask in New York City).  When I received mine last year it was stamped right at the top Restricted: Hunting and Target Shooting, Transport To and From.  This is not a legal restriction, but if you raise a fuss, guess what happens?

Greg, I don't know what state you live in but why don't you take that legislator out the night before that bill comes up & get him good & drunk & take his picture with a couple topless dancers & give it to his wife. I can just about guaruntee he won't be fillibusterin nothin for a long time between his hangover & the lumps on his head from the skillet or rollin pin his wife will use on him.

Hemlock, you must have a professional permit. My non-pro permit doesn't require any listing of the firearms I carry.

However, I don't need a permit as a lawdawg anymore! I keep the non-pro because it makes it easier to do purchases. It will be nice when I retire! Only have to qualify once a year then!
