Are ghost ring rear sights correct for CAS or SASS? I know they were around back in the day. I load black powder cartridges in my .44. With age my sight has taken a S***. These sights have helped greatly! Just wondering if you all ever see anyone using them. Thanks Bushrod

They are not allowed as they are not period correct. Ghost rings are a 20th century sight. Besides, every person I know who has put them on modern handguns has taken them off quickly as they do not allow precise aiming. SASS rules say pretty much that open iron sights or original style, tang mounted peep sights. NCOWS says the sights must be of the period style.
