Rapidfire

Respectfully request to join the Spencer Shooting Society.  Have been shooting Spencers for a few years.  Got my first Spencer back in 99 from Mr Romano
sn 10003.    The carbine shot as good as it looked.  I used Ballard rifle and Cartridge LLC brass and paper patch bullets.  I have owned a couple orginal Spencers but never did convert them to center fire.   Have a Chiappa Spencer now and works great.   Had to make a new magazine tube for it an it solved a few issues on feeding.  Also worked the mainspring over to lighten the trigger pull and honed the sear.   Thanks in advance for letting me join.

brand new Dixie Gun Works Spencer Carbine in 56-50.  I would like to join, I don't do any cowboy shooting (yet), but am very interested in history.

Fallon Kid

Fallon Kid here. Just got my Dixie carbine 56-50. Not my first gun but new to this caliber and Spencer. I drop my own bullets and reload with Blue, Red and Green.  I only use single press for 45-70 and up except for 32S&W and 38S&W. I like old worthless top breaks. I do Cowboy, Wild Bunch, Long Range BPCR and not very good but I love the spirit and do have fun. A great match for me is when all my guns run the whole match and don't get a procedural.  I also dabble in front loaders LR with my Whitworth and Gibbs. Thanks Jerry, Northern Nevada
