Hey Ned, if you can show us a picture of the Remmie and give us an idea of what style rig you would like( shoulder holster, crossdraw...etc.) it would be easier to give you some choices.
Almost any style rig can be made to fit any style of pistol. It's kind of up to you what style you might want.

You might also check out the topic ," show us your stuff " and get some ideas.    GB

Ned Buckshot

I've been working on a design for quite some time now and I am about ready to start.

It'll be a "spring clip" design.

E mail me if you're interested and I'll send some more details.

And yes I will send pictures when available.

I have a pair of those little boogers myself and have never yet fired them.  When I get around to leather, my main idea for personal use is a pair of suspender holsters.  This makes fer an interesting costuming element  at the shoots.  Of course they also need a pair of micro Slim Jims for the next time I take the grand kids to the range with me!  I figure 6/7oz leather should be bout right fer these lil Lilliputins.  These are actually a fair bit smaller than the '49 Colt or the Ruger Bearcat revolvers and I know of no other gun that would share a common holster with these???

Freedom

I have yet to make a holster for mine cause I can't keep it shooting past a couple loadings :-\

A word of caution about the little .31 Rems....the loading leaver is REALLY easy to break (actually it is the pivet screw hole just tears out)_..... Be careful when loading and don't use a ball that shaves much lead.  Very poor design...at least the one's made be Traditions are.......Such a cute little shooter too, this is a darned shame.

And Oh yeah DGW does sell replacement...$50!!...just to break it again in 50 balls. ;D

Freedom, I have had mine for several years now and have not fired them yet but might it not be cheeper to just load the cylinder outside of the frame?  When I first bought mine, I also purchased two extra cylinders for them based on the idea that my big Remmingtons were easier to use when multiple cylinders were loaded externally and exchanged for continual shooting.  This also helps with the Remingtons tendency to foul quickly as it keeps the fouling from setting up around the cylinder pin.  Even without the extra cylinder I think you will find that loading is quicker and easier externally.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I was given the lil 31 as a gift by the club that I belong to, it was a club gun that was never used and was in bad shape.

I spent a while giving it some TLC. The barrel has a small amount of  pitting and the blueing was pretty poor. It has the brass frame but it shoots OK. I load the cylinder of the gun and use the Lee round ball mould which is about 318-319 dia.

I will fathom out how to post pictures or get my good buddy Paladin UK to post on my behalf.

Don't know what sort of holster I want, have thought about shoulder holster or maybe attach to my suspenders, would appreciate any ideas you have.

Ned:
I made one (small belt holster-type, I think) for my stepson several years ago (when the .31 was about his size) and should have a pattern for it somewhere.
If I can find it, I'll scan and e-mail it to you.

Gimme a little time to look.

Ned, you did a beautiful job of restoring that little charmer. I think she just cries out for a suspender holster rig.

Thanks GB, not quite finished restoring her yet, just a few minor details left to do. I like the idea of a suspender holster as well.
