Elephant money belt in progress

Never enough time in the day...about 1/3 of the way done. The cartridge loops are laced and black shell cordovan, the chape is horsehide + shell cordovan, the belt itself is black elephant sewn to a 3oz shoulder and folded. The top edge is a bit rough as I have to trim it down about an inch to even it out after lacing all the loops. I have about 15 more loops to do, skive down the end of the chape and hand sew everything up with contrasting Royalwood Irish linen thread.

I have just enough elephant left to make a shotgun belt when this one is done.

Lookin' very, VERY nice there. Love the elephant hide!

Anti, That belt is comin along very nicely. Send us some more pics when she's al done.

That elephant has a nice texture to it. It should look great when finished.
