Elephant money belt in progress

Never enough time in the day...about 1/3 of the way done. The cartridge loops are laced and black shell cordovan, the chape is horsehide + shell cordovan, the belt itself is black elephant sewn to a 3oz shoulder and folded. The top edge is a bit rough as I have to trim it down about an inch to even it out after lacing all the loops. I have about 15 more loops to do, skive down the end of the chape and hand sew everything up with contrasting Royalwood Irish linen thread.

I have just enough elephant left to make a shotgun belt when this one is done.
