Howdy boys.
Been wearing these for bout 8 years and they show it.
Used 7/8 #  leather and olive oil ta soften them up.
Don't even notice I'm wearing them...sure notice when I'm not...bad wrists!!
Not fancy...Made them small and wore them in ta fit.
Dang comfortable now...wouldn't shoot without them!!
Now if I could just get that smell out of um!!

Heck, BH, those even look comfortable. Nice rattler on them, too. Thanks.

BH, dead rattlers always put off a bad odor!!!  An interesting design I jist might have to appropriate it for future use!!  It might even lend itself to a rattler winding his way up a gunfighter holster to match them there cuffs.

Yeh, I'm feeling better, but I've always been nosey ;D I preached for the first time yesterday (May 3rd) since the stroke, and it seemed to me to go well. I had a great response from a great groupd of people. If anyone would want to hear it, it's posted on our website www.sherwoodnewlife.org

I think if I was inclined to wear a pair of these, I would buy them from Rolling Thunder, 'cause there is no way I could make anything close to as cool as his are, especially the color! Talk about inspiring! JD

While I appreciate the kind words, JD, The ones that WC posted were just flipping amazing. Did you see that cross-hatching on there? I mean, WOW! Great work on those. And really awesome mellow colors!

You're right RT, that crosshatching WC did on the cuffs is really something. JD

Howdy RT & JD
Thank you very much for the kind words.
Someday I'll get the gunbelt done for the matching holsters and knife sheath.

WC, if you don't mind, what technique did you use to do the cross-hatching?

WC great looking cuffs for sure..I like the layout.  By the way I have been trying to get that PX008 stamp...they are backordered on them.  Thanks for forwarding the part number on the stamp.

Here is a set that I made for the Ocoee Rangers X-Mas party as a door prize.  The fellow who won them is none other than our resident paster. Rev. Adam Jones (his alias is the name of his ancester that was a traveling paster back in the 1800's.) and he is a real paster as well.

Nice, Outrider. I'll bet he was happy to get those. Nice look with the dyed logo.

No technique, I just laid in a guide line each direction and started freehand carving with a fine 1/4 angle blade. I carve the lines from Left to Right so I can see the spacing.

If you get tired of waiting you can get the same stamp from Bob Beard at Pro Series Tools. He is the one that designed the stamp and let Hidecrafter copy it. It will be a bit higher in price and a lot higher in quality.
