G'day all, been away for awhile, all sorts of stuff going on then computer trouble, then new computer, shucks.

Cut to the chase, I have a pair of 45 Convertibles (BHs, 45 Colt and 45ACP cylinder). I like the guns, but the 45ACP doesn't seem to work properly unless they are really screaming along, then it is impressive. As I can't use the rimless ACP cylinders in cowboy and don't really have much use for them, will the 45 Cowboy clean up the ACP cylinders? Just a thought.

MIck.
All my cowboy gun's calibres start with a 4! It's gotta be big bore and whomp some!

Dont know about the 45 Cowboy, but I had an old S&W model 25 in 45 ACP that I found some 45 auto rim.  Worked perfectly.

Can be done with the cowboy special.  To use 45 auto rim you would also need to take some of the back of the cylinder off to make room for the thicker rim.
