A few weeks ago Lt. Col. Mustang Gregg called me to express his concern that he might not be able to adequetely preform his duties as Division Commander in light of his upcoming deployment and asked to be relieved. I expressed my reluctence.

For some time I have been recomending to all my Division Commanders that they appoint a staff, not only to assist in command duties, but to serve as a training platform for the next generation leaders of the Grand Army of the Frontier. In the course of our conversation we agreed that the best course of action for the Division was for him to appoint 2 Majors to assist him.

It is therefore with pleasure that I announce the promotion of Bow View Haymaker to (Bvt.) Major in command of the Battalion of Eastern Nebraska (402 area code) and Dalton Masterson to (Bvt.) Major in command of the Battalion of Western Nebraska (308 area code)

Please join me in offering these two new officers your sincere congratulations.

Maybe your first general order should be to assemble these fine fellers at the Midwest National BPCR shoot this weekend at Alliance?
22 and lever guns Friday, long range Saturday, and Buffalo Match on Sunday. ;D

Dalton Masterson

Thank you Col. Pitspitr!

I would like to get an up to date list of Battalion of Western Nebraska (308 area code) troopers. If you are a GAF member in the 308 area code, please sign up at a like post in the Barracks, please.

Thank you,
Bvt. Major Dalton Masterson

OOOOO I'd love to come! ...but wait a minute if I did I think the CnC at my home station would have me drawn and quartered! I've been gone the last two weekends and I think she's thinking that's enough for a while.

Wish I could make it also.  But you could always come to the GAF Muster at Ft. Hartsuff in Oct, I could arrange an extra dessert for ya. ;)
