Those old 1917 models used to be priced reasonable, but not now. I'm still looking for one of those myself.

All I need is another.

Got more CAS stuff then I kin shoot. Mah po ole Buntlines ain't seen the light of day in I don't know when. Wanted 'em sooooooooooooo bad.

Got me this big ole container ah unrolled change 'n prolly 'nother hundred sittin' 'ere on the desk, in the way, I ain't throwed in there. That 'n dumpin' a loser was what I used for the 26. Couldn't have scored better Wednesday 26 er 34, a hunnert is a hunnert.

Still, when I pass the display case it the shop, my eyes just get stuck on the 19s in there. L'il ole night sights look so sad cuz they ain't gottah home. They plead, 'Please take me with you.' Breaks mah heart.

Better git ta rollin' coins.........

I found a real nice Model 26 with night sights in a pawn shop several months ago and I bought it. It's alot easier to shoot than my 27. A Model 19 is only one I don't have right now. I keep hoping to run onto one at that pawn shop. They usually call me if they get a Glock or a SIG in that I might want.

Heck that's what them cans and jars of loose coins is go for........it's barely enough to buy a box of primers with...The guns is the cheap part...  ::)   They gettin' to be like having a Hoss or a motorcycle or a boat.    I have been watching the prices on everything even the Rugar vaqueros go up pretty steady in the local shops. Montana's Kimber is a $100 higher than when she bought it. Less than 15 months ago.

Tex  a guy at work had/has a Sig he's been wanted to sell, three barrels and extra Mags,(price seemed right)    Not sure I trust this guy and have kind of walked away from him.

I'd like to find a reasonably priced adjustable sighted Ruger Single-six convertible in .32 H&R Mag and .32-20.

Slim, I'm tryin' to buy a pre-1900 32.20 Smith revolver right now. If I get it, I'm takin' it in for a check up. If it passes, I'm gettin' some 32.20 BP ammo to shoot in it.

Slim, the convertables were Blackhawks, the 32-20 is too long a round for the single-six and they only built I think a 1000 of them about 1990.

I didn't know they were Blackhawks. A pard at the local CAS club has a pair of Vaquero birdsheads with dual cylinders. I figured these were the single-six frame.

Hmm, now I need to measure, but I thought the 32-20 was too long for the Single-Six, that's what they said when that company had those Blackhawks made up.
