hey all, I'm having trouble with my rossi 92 getting dirty after about 30 rds and jams, I know it is powder residue. I am shooting

45LC 200 grain with clays at 4.8. My question is do you think I should go up in powder or down? My crimp is good and length is ok

at 1.58. any ideas? thanks in advance

Howdy Tom,
You are already pretty close to the starting load for Clays and a 200gr bullet, per the data on Hodgon's website.  The thick 45LC brass is hard to expand to seal the chamber with light CAS loads.  I would up the powder load, and going to a 250gr bullet will help even more.

Howdy pard,

Like Abilene said, you need to up your charge, your not expanding you casing when fired, and there by getting a lot of blow by, these guns weren't meant to shoot this low of a reduced load, 200 GR. bullet would be fine with the right charge, and 250 GR. would be even better, UP YOUR CHARGE AND YOU WILL BE FINE. ( IMHO )
