If I would spend more time working on leather, instead of tools to work on leather, i might get something done!

I have wanted one of these every since i got my first Tandy catalog! But I can buy a nce peice of leather for what they cost!! Well, when you live in the middle of no where, and need something that isn't something that has been used or made for 30 years, you can't get lt here, so you have two choices, internet or friend's that live somewhere that is in the real world!
I emailed a friend in Tulsa, and told him what I was looking for, he found it, and a place had a foot peice for $10.00, buy the time I got it here it was $15.50, I got enough material to make 3 more of these mallets!

I will do better when the weather gets warm!

my friend you make me smile thats a pretty snazzy maul the red die is a real eye catcher and that handle is way cool i wish i had that talent to make things like that great job bud

Thanks to all for the kind words! I have allways like being on the outside lookin in, instead of inside looking out! It is that i am limited in what I do and don't do anymore that kills me!

That Maul is snazzy. About what does it weigh?

Ace you have to look at life as chapters in a book. You can look back at the other chapters and appreciate what you did then. But now you are writing a new chapter. Apreciate what your doing now cause a lot of us and others can't do neer as well.

johnny, I will have to weight it tomorrow and let you know how much it weights! yes you are right about life, everyday is a new day, but I never knew what it would be like to have to ask people to do things for me, that I have allways done my self!
the things I make are nothing, It's that a lot of folks don't have the right machines and tools and know how to use them!
I am going to make another Maul it will weigh the same, not sure it will have the same handle, or the same dice on top. It will be $20.00 plus shipping if anyine would want it!

I am not in the buiness of making tools, but if I can make a buck and save a person a buck, all is cool.
I realy didn't know if I would sell one! I want to make lighter one, but i am looking for the Ul Rod, the place I am getting it from, only has thw 2 3/4" acroosed! I would like to find a peice 2" acrossed. This material bites on the stamps, and I like that!
Save your money, and buy a tool that you need! Thats Cool

I spent my 4 hours today ( on a good day, I get 2 hr's in the morning before I have to lay down, and 2 hours in the afternoon before it is bed time, that is 2 out of 3 days when the Temp is around 60 degress, less than that, I might get2 hours a week, if I am lucking!!

Cowboy, the thought was AWESOME, and I do thank you!

Production on the Maul's Has begun

They will be ready to ship first of next week. If everyone can pm me with the mailing information, I will get a shipping charge for everyone.

I want to thank everyone that bought one from me, whether you bought it to help me out or bought it to use, they work great!! I am trying to find the same material in a smaller size for when you need not so much maul.
