Got a package today

hey guy just wanted to say i got a package from Jim Linell  today i email him awhile back askin him if he had a tool list for a check book cover he had done and he email me back saying to give him my address and he will send me the info as soon as he could well i opened it up to day to find a copy of the 10th Anniversary issue of The Leather Crafters & Saddlers Journal from Jan/Feb 2001having the atricle he wrote on the check book with all the tools used and step by step pics i was floored when i say this book
posting some pics of it to  ;D ;D ;D
And to bood theres an article from Will Ghormley  and his Cheyenne HOlster with step by step pics and instruction and pattern so theres something new for me to try wooooo hoooooo

ya guys that was a really nice thing to get in the mail yesterday considering all the crap im going threw right now it was definitally a day brightener let me tall ya sorry havent posted much as for leather work but this are kinda rough round here and dont have anywhere to go do my leather so i just sit here and read what you guys do and drool LOL but nough but my problems you guys are great thanks each and every one of you

WOW, and that is one that I am short on.  This is a great magazine and often has plans that are suitable for SASS use.  I love it when they get the full coverage article on a single stamping tool.  There isnt a lot thats left to the imagination.

well guys heres the roper wallet minus the lacing cuz i dont have enough right now LOL
with  an antique tan  on it with a neats foot oil base coat then a tan coat finish
pics not good cuz of my light right now try to get better pic tonight

That is awesome, you show that your talent is overwelming. I think that you can carve or do anything you want with leather!
I am enveious of your talent, not jeasuos!!
Keep up that great work, you give me hope that I can do the simple carving!

i wouldnt say thing are getting better im just doing what i got to do to get things done id like to take my leather to the next level but i think thats gonna take having a shop which i dont have and i dont dare do any stamping when the family is around anymore but thats not im portant here this is for leather only LOL

Very nice job on the wallet.
I've only had my shop for the last 10 years, for the 15 before that I worked out of a bedroom at home. You will be surprised what you can do in a little space.
