At the match on Sunday, first stage 1st pistol (Cimarron R/M II .45 cal.)  5th shot click. :o Run it around again thinking I short stroked it. No shot. Finish stage at unloading table one round primer untouched.
Next stage first pistol click, click, click, click, click!!! :o >:( :-\ Finish stage 5 misses!!! At unloading table 5 rounds with untouched primer, What the hell? Looking pistol over and comparing to mate. Looks like hammer not going all the way foreward. Then I notice a bump on the hammer shank. The safety that is supposed to be engaged with a screwdriver has rotated on its own now the pistol is on safe and will not fire. Apparently the recoil has rotated the safety.
Has anyone else experienced this. If so haw did you fix it.

Had it happen once clean everything up good with acetone then a dab of loctite holds her for good.

I took it out, but it leaves a big hole.  Put it back in with some loctite, problem solved.

Take it out, grind off the raised lobe so it is the same height as the off position, put it back in.  Problem solved forever, no and ifs or buts (and no hole).

Ah ........ Yup.  What they said.

Also, if ya use "Red" Loctite, it's forever.  No muss, no fuss, just clean it up, add the Loctite and let it sit for awhile (over night).
