Mighty nice, CB!

Did you put them together yourself?
Rattlesnake Jack Robson, Scout, Rocky Mountain Rangers, North West Canada, 1885
Major John M. Robson, Royal Scots of Canada, 1883-1901
Sgt. John Robson, Queen's Own Rifles of Canada, 1885
Bvt. Col, Commanding International Dept. and Div.  of Canada, Grand Army of the Frontier

Colonel Buckshot

Ordered them as a blank template and added the number 2 and the rank as well as the brass strip.

yes .... I thought that "some assembly required" would undoubtedly be necessary for such accoutrements ....

You might be interested in the "project" of that sort I have recently embarked upon, and just posted about here -

Very nice, Colonel ..... though perhaps a wee bit on the "drab" side ...... at least  from my perspective .....

Almost there I still need the Dragoon or 1840 heavy cavalry sabers although the staff and field 1850 saber does fit.  I finally need a Dragoon belt plate which has a D inside the wreath.  USHistory has the belt plate so when I save some more I will be able to get it.

Dr. Bob

Howdy,

Here a is a source for the Dragoon and Topographical Engineer scales.  They are very accurately reproduced.

These folks make great quality belt buckles/plates.  I have several and am quite pleased with them all.

Here is a great supplier of shoulder  boards and buttons.

I have shopped with all of these vendors and can endorse them highly!!
