Am wondering, have you seen any with the Richard Mason ejector.
I didn't know about base pin you mentioned.
It may not make difference. Although I would rather not take out the pin screw just to remove the cylinder.
May give Ravon Roost a call and talk to Jay, they are the one making the converters.
