I went to a seminar at the NCOWS convention about wild bill Hicock, one winter he went to KC
and the police took his pistols. Before he gave them up he went outside and unloaded them
into the center of an O on a sign,it had initials like L.O.O. or something, I didn't write it down.
Does anyone know what this sign looked like, I'd like to paint a replica and shoot some holes
through it (a lot closer than he did) and hang it in my shed or somewhere

probably a Independant Order of Odd Fellows sign,  I can remember the lodge my Granddad belonged to, had a big sign out front.

I.O.O. F.  then gave the lodge number.
We done it for Dixie,  nothing else

If you can believe the people on Impossible Shots, the sign was for a saloon.  Sa LOO n.
