Very interesting to see the different nuances and styles that they made..everything form Buscaderos to mexican loop...
I especially liked the closed toe on Gene Autry's rig...

Howdy Hank,

I personaly want to than you for posting that for every one view! I do injoy looking and studing the B Holsters of the early western movies!
I have been wanting to make a B Western holster, but every time I came up with a idea, i didn't like it! When i first got on here, I went to ebay and Talked to the leather guy, he sold me some 9oz Burgandy Veg tanned leather! He sold me 2 peices real cheap! I allways wanted to make a B western for some well figured female, with lots of goodies! Had the chance, but because of my back I told her it would be 2 weeks, but she couldn't wait!
So I think i will make me one some day!

I would like to see all those rigs up close.
Went to Festival of the West last weekend and Al Frisch had guns and holsters that John Wayne used in his movies. There was also a gun and holster from Shane, and many more.

I always wondered why Gene wore that Buscadero with an empty side..I guess according to the trivia guy..we'll never know..
