If they are sold out, sign on to their email alert. I did and was notified last week that they had my brand in stock and I ordered 4000 small pistol on the spot.

No its more to do with dinkydinks buying up more primers than they could ever possibly use in a lifetime :o Among the many I bought xxx1000 primer threads a person sees, the one that struck me the most was the guy who bought 1000 444 Marlin brass, and claims enough powder, primer and bullets to load those same brass 20 times over. ::) Sure hope his house doesn't catch on fire, it'll just be a big hole in the ground.

I travel alot (trucking) and stick my head in every pawn shop, gun shop, Cabelas, Bass Pro that I pass.  Bass Pro in Council Bluffs had primers a short time ago but @ 5.99 per hundred.  I'd do a search of businesses in your area on whitepages.com and start calling to find some.  They are where you find them.  I just found 2 thousand large rifle Winchester at a pawn shop for 26.99 per box.  You can bet the next ones he gets in will be twice as high.

Bingo ! I hit pay dirt ...and I mean dirt ( dust ) ...I went into plan B mode and checked some small town gunshops and found what I need  .........and they didn`t charge extra for the dust that came with them ... ;D

I bought some (900, all he had) Large Pistol primers at a local gunshop. The owner asked $18 for the 900. Being the type of individual he is, I bought them with no argument.

Whenever I am out and pass a little mom and pop sporting goods store or gunshop I take a peek.  They usually have primers and I divest them of a few boxes, but do not clean them out.

Me and the wife shoot almost every weekend .....so yes I bought the whole stock of what I needed and what I might need 6 months from now .....dust and all ... I do buy powder by the 25 lb case too ....it gets all used up in a years time . of course I do supply a few friends that don`t shoot as often , what they need .... ;)
