Scored me a new toy last night!

Went to the local Cabelas to see what was left. There were only 4 Pietta Colts in the new case, so went back to the bargain cave.
There was a 61 Colt, 2 60s with navy grips, and a stainless Remmy. I checked out the 60s, put them back, and checked the Remmy. Action felt very funny, with the hammer needing to come back a little farther to fully cock. Then the trigger pull had a LOT of creep. I felt I could fix it so asked the guy behind the counter if he could do any better on it. He knocked it down to 200 bucks.
When I got it home, I popped off the grips, and the trigger guard and just looked in. The hammer full cock notch had a bunch of grit in it I removed. I lightened the mainspring a hair, and now almost all of the goofiness is out of the action. Just feels like it needs to be polished now.
I needed another 5 1/2" gun to go with my gunfighter Remmy, but now I got this one instead. 
Guess I better keep looking!

Does Kirst make stainless cylinders?

He doesn't. I've tried to talk him into it, but he has a minimum order on parts and doesn't feel He'l make his money back any time soon. He does offer a nickel plated one that might be a good match to the stainless finish.

I'd like to find a mate for my Cabela's Pietta .44 new army. steel frame (so's I can use conversion )
I have an 8" barrel now so maybe a 5 1/2" 'cause I can't shoot matching guns.  At least I never have so far. 
I spose an 8 inch would work.  Or even a brass frame if the price be right.  I would like to stay with Pietta though. 
Did I mention being broke down't help.  but I havn't seen just what I been looking ofr anywhere but Gunbroker.

1 Uberti 8in NMA .44 C&B only had 10 rounds of actual ammo shot through it was a reenactors side arm so lots of powder burned thru it but like I said only 10 balls
