A couple of weeks ago, M'ette and I decided to join Facebook, in my case mostly as an easy way to stay in touch with friend in the old country.

I thought Facebook was mostly used by the "young guns", but I was wrong.

Another interesting observation is this:

Among the 5800 members on this forum, close to a 1000 are registered on Facebook!!

So if you want to look me up, search for Marshal Halloway and I'll add you to the growing numbers of CA shooters.

Do tell?  I use my home PC for both work and personal, have a PKI card reader to access my webmail, and the clincher ~my organization allows and encourages "social networking" on facebook at work.  I'm in the U.S. Military.

So, if my branch of the military allows and encourages responsible use of social network sites on their machines, what security issues are you experiencing that I should tell my IT people about?
