I happen to notice in the Shootest (now I can't find it  :-\)
I'm sure I saw a "First timer Membership offer" for $20

For those of us in the far reaches where there are no posse's...and trying to find like minded folks to form one..this might be the
trick....
Where, I could not fund Memberships for an entire group...I could afford buy a first time membership for a pard or two.

If approved, we could buy a first time membership FOR a shooting buddy or two at that entry level.

NCOWS wins,  :) with new members in States with no Posse's ( it would work well also in States where Posse's are already formed )

And we the lonely, Far & Away members  :P could gain on those numbers we need to finely get that toe hold we need.

I know there are Comp. Memberships (not asking for that ) just wondering.

There was a deal for those who wanted to sign up for the National yet were not NCOWS members. $20, plus cost of entry fee into the National.

YA !  :)  Thanks RCJ ... found it on the entry form you mention.... I knew I'd seen it.

Doubt, we can travel to the Nat'l this year... perhaps one year....

For those who join NCOWS at the convention there will be a drawing.

The winners will recieve a $ 200.00 gift certificate for a new outfit from Work-N-Ranch. ;D

One woman and one man.  That's $ 200.00 each. :o

Time frame being a PITA ...MT is out there NOW
it his Mom's 80th B'day this week....

for me I could not get the Convention week off  ::)
Seems I have some busy work that week.

So I take my Vacation in Apr. on my B'day just worked out that way.
May join Doc. Bob at a reenactment in St. Augustine.

I went ahead and renewed my Membership so maybe next years convention, God willing and the creek don't rise,
I'll get out there
