 It used to be back in the dark days of re-enacting, (1970's &80's)
the joke was we'd swallowed so much BP from tearing open ca'tridgeswith our teeth
that we'd loose the lead in our pencil due to the saltpeter.
I never found that to be the case, guess now I know why.

The problem I see is getting the wimmin to come around at all when you smell like bad eggs.

I had to laugh on this one Delmonico. A friend of mine shoots Frontiersman class and yesterday showed up dressed for B- Western. I asked what was going on and he said that his wife was having some out of town guest arriving while we were shooting. I said whats that have to do with the class change and he replied thar she didn't want him coming home smelling like that nasty Black Powder. Maybe it works for us but not the women. My wife could not get me to not shoot Frontier Cartridge, That's where I put my foot down and tell her who; oh hey honey just talking to...............
