These are dead cow but 'is snake stuff I kinda like. Hurt 'is feelin's once when I tolt 'im I'd offed a copperhead 'n tossed the carcass in the woods. Said he'd a made a hat band outtah the thing.

Ya seen the stuff he's done with dead skate? Looks like deck tape onna boat. Black sand paper. Didn't have the heart ta tell 'im when I hook a skate I just cut the line. N'er wanted ta haul one them sharp tailed thngs in the boat ta try'n save a sinker 'n a hook. 'N they will stab ya.

Some folks keep 'em. They use a hollow punch ta take make round hunks of meat they steam or fry. Sell 'em ta folks sayin' they's scallops. It's not bad at all. But I ain't puttin' my hands onna live one. Sand sharks I've handled. They're good cut up in l'il steaks'n broiled. N'er went after either on purpose. They just kindah happen.

Shark aint bad at all, just don't think theys down fer the count just cause they's in the boat. Lot a folks on the coast always carried a gun and would pop em in the head bafore they got em all the way on board. Tasty steaks, but mean as hell.

I don't have much access to fresh fish around here, except maybe shrimp. I like fish once in a while. I know crab cakes are a big item on the East Coast.
