Has anyone ever used the double shoulders available from Siegel?

I was at the local Tandy store yesterday and their selection wasn't all that great.  Thought I'd order some from Siegel's since the price was good.  Just curious about the quality.

Thanks for any info.

I've used Siegals for yearsnever had a problem. Their prices are right and they pay the shipping .

The only problem with ordering sight unseen is the back side is sometimes too fuzzy for me. I don't line my holsters so I like the back side to be very clean, buffed if possible. So I usually just go to Tandy and look things over. I can usually find one or two I can use. I have used Siegles leather before and it is as good as Tandy if not better.

Wickett & Craig currently have their 8/10 oz carving shoulders on sale for $50.00 - they average about 14 sq/ft and are IMO superior to any of the imports...1-800-826-6379
tell them you need clean backs and they'll usually pick them out for you -
warning: once you use W/C leather you'll be spoiled - 99% chance anyway..........

Chuck,
Thank you very much for chiming in...I hold your opinions in high regard on this forum.  Two questions for you if you don't mind...
1) How did you know W&C had the 8/10 shoulders on sale?  I didn't see it on their website.  How long is the sale price good for?
2) Can you explain their grading system to me?  They list standard, utility, & special.  What is best for holsters?

Thanks again...I guess that was really 4 questions.   ;)

Howdy TC -
1) I jut got their flyer- the sale is good until the end of March. They also have their carving 8/10 oz sides on sale for $90.00 plus S/H - they avergage around 24 sq ft

2) Leather grade is based mainly on how free of blemishes/brands on the face - The lower the grade the more blemishes - I generally order the utility as I don't mind a few blemishes (makes aging easier too!)
