I tried to buy 'Hard Cast Lead Bullets' here in Germany. And what did i hear?
Sorry, no hard cast lead bullest anymore!  ???
We sell only CUHS ( Copper High Speed) bullets. :o
I said that i couldn't use black powder with these bullets.
And what did i hear, the next sorry.
I always thought, the customer is king.Must be a missunderstanding.
So, in the future i have to cast my bullets for my 44-40 ,45-70 or 45LC by myself before i shoot them with the holy black stuff.

Did you have the same problem in the states?

No, fortunately; but, there are those that are trying to make it so.

Well I for one don't use "hard cast" lead bullets. I use dead soft, or nearly so, lead bullets. They seem to work much better with black powder.

Actually it's harder to find soft bullets here than "hard cast". Since most shooters are users of that new fangled smokeless stuff, the suppliers tend to cater to them.

Hey Lonesome.
Isn't another option to just order some from somewhere else and have them shipped to you.
500  250gr. Lead Round Nose Flat Point Bullets cost about 50 to 60 Dollars (US) and the package would weigh less than 20lbs. (9 Kilos).
Just something to think about.

If you want to shoot a lot of BP in CAS you have to either cast your own or be Bill Gates.

I hear the Californicators outlawed all lead shot towards any animal in a hunting situation. Read that as the bullet must be lead free :-X

Does anyone know where to buy soft lead bullets here in the good ole US ..I can buy all the round balls I need soft lead .....but have never found any soft lead bullets for my pistol and rifle loading ........I`ve always cast my own , and have days I just don`t feel up to the chore .....
The cast lead bullets I find on the shelf can be shot at steel and picked up and resized and shot again .......I want my lead to splatter when it hits steel .........no.. rick-o-shay

The Dastardly one doesn't sell bullets actually.  It's the molds that they are made with that he stocks.  That and other fine Black Powder supplies.

Yes, Springfield Slim does sell fine Big Lube™ bullets.  There are more fine purveyors of Big Lube™ cast bullets on the web site.  Click the banner below to get there quick.
