Just picked up a Uberti trapdoor.  Wife made me sell my '03 in order to get another rifle, but since I got twice what I paid for it I can't complain too much.

Hey I think you're gonna like that trapdoor! I bought one a couple of years ago, along with a Pedersoli Sharps Carbine. (it was a good deal) but have since sold the Sharps, and would never consider letting the trapdoor go! Excellent quality and workmanship, and quite accurate with commercial ammo! I mostly shoot my originals with the BP, so haven't tried any in the Uberti, but let us know if you do!

It's always fun to get a new toy.  I am looking for a reasonably priced 03 that I can afford to go along with my pre-WW1 US Army persona. All my new toys have been antique Non-Cas.
