Brevet Lieutenant Colonel Kenneth H. Robison II has released the February 2009  issue of "The Knapsack". It can be viewed by going to the "Dispatches" link on the GAF website.

As usual Bvt LTC Robison has produced an excellent educational and informative manuscript. He deserves a hearty "WELL DONE!" from all of us.

We need to provide more support for "The Knapsack" by submitting material for inclusion in future issues. If you are concerned that your writing skills may not be up to the task LTC Robison, myself and others will be glad to assist you.

Zouave Officer

Thank you Col. Schmitt.

Frechie if your out there sorry for not sending it along to you before hand for review and corrections, got down to the wire, and I was already running a day behind so issued it rather quickly. If you can email me privately at Johnnyreb6@aol.com, we can setup a better reviewal system to try and cut back some of the typo's, etc...

Also, anyone wanting to submit articles please feel free to send them along, spelling errors are welcomed as well.  ;D All I ask is that the subject matter be relevant to the Grand Army of the Frontier. It would be nice to see articles on Uniforms, Firearm Safety, Military History, etc...

Thank you again.
