Scarlet Angel

Great photos! I enjoy looking at all of them and all of the different looks we all have.

Leo looks great on a horse, woulda looked better if we would've let them stirrups down about a foot. Maybe Leo was thinkin' he could head for the track though  ;)

Leo, I wouldn't get my hopes up on being a jockey.

This was taken this afternoon after our monthly match.. It shows a new kepi (hat) that I have added three genuine eagle feathers to and some silver (you can't really see the silver on the rear side of the hat), this was a very popular hat with the Apache scouts. I've lost 55 pounds this year, when I loose another 35-40, you'll be able to see the whole chin strap. ;D ;D

Cool....

Round here ya'd git in big trouble for even having one.... even if you picked it up from the ground.

Dr. Bob

Wireman,

Bill is an INDIAN and therefore can possess feathers from raptors.  The rest of us get a "Go to jail" card if we have one.

That's why mine is a painted turkey feather.  Don' wanna push the little luck I do have. :o

Looks good, OCB.  Love that rifle!

(Congrats on the weight loss.  I for one know that it isn't as easy to remove as it is to add.  Oh, and the chin strap is quite visible.)

TL....Dave and I hope to leave on Sunday morning the 12th. We start filming on the 16th so that will give us a couple days to get acclimated to the weather and meet some of you folks down there. I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but Dave is a Indianapolis Police officer and has been growing a period correct mustache and chin whiskers for this film and boy has he been getting an eye from the folks at work! Dave is near retirement and pretty much has told them to shove it! He is really excited about being in this film.

Hey, I've got Tascosa Joe's phone number but I don't have your contact information. If you want you can email it to me.

Buckskin, I like that tintype. You look like a Missourah bushwacker.

I wish I had the tintype of my GGGrandfather (the real Wild Billy Potts) in Texas in the 1870s. Y'all would get a big kick outta it.

Del.......I think Custers baldness was accelerated quite a bit at Little Big Horn ;D ;D

Bill

The savages did not scalp nor partake in their standard practice of mutilation of Custer. Some say it was because he had a relationship with an indian woman and was considered a relative by many of them. The only mutilation was, his eardrums were pearced, supposedly so he could hear better in the afterlife.

Glad you like it, bit I have to admit that I have fudged the jacket I am wearing. It is a custom made copy of the Charlie Prince jacket from the latest 3.10 to Yuma. It is leather and is a great jacket but not exactly authentic.  ;)

I do have a nice wool Frock Coat that I wear as well.

Where did you get that great lookin hat?
