Big Rattlesnake

I know y'all done seen dat pitcher of a big rattlesnake been makin' de rounds on dat Internet, yeah.  Well, lemme tol' ya sumpthin'.  Y'all ain't never SEEN no big snake 'til ya laid yer eyes on one o' dem Alabama Timber Rattlers.

One time my friend Broussard -- him be in de pulpwood bidness -- seen one stretched out acrosst th' road in de piney woods, yeah.  First he took it fer a log one o' de other pulpwooders done dropped in de middle o' de road, but oncet he got closer he figgered out what it was.  Right on de spot, Broussard done decided he was gonna run over dat snake wit' his pulpwood truck.

Dat didn' work out too good, nope. Ya see, when Broussard hit de snake, his ol' pulpwood truck high-centered on de snake's middle-parts,  an'  got hung up.  Hooo-EEE, dat ol' Timber Rattler got mad, yeah, 'cause Broussard done interrupted his nap.

Anyhow, dat ol' snake throwed a coil aroun' Broussard's pulpwood truck, and commenced ta squeezin'.  Den he proceeded ta swallow dat truck -- pulpwood 'n all.  Broussard jest barely got out in time!

An' dat's de truth, yessir!

When I was out in Crane Texas we killed a fair sized rattler. We skinned him in one piece, cut the skin into sections and used him to lay a pipeline to Midland.
Yes, I do have more facial hair now.

Would rather use a cottonwood, got a couple near a 100 feet tall.

Already called my friend Liz, she's makin' us up a real good rope, her ropes are the best. ;D



I asked here to put some pretty yarn in it like she does for the kids when she makes jump ropes. :o
