This is my first visit to this site and i need some help finding something. I am looking for some 50-90 Bell brass and can't find any anywhere. Does anybody know where i night find some? i am going to get some Starline brass when it comes available for my rolling block but need 20 or 25 Bell cases to finish up a lot of 100. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Actually, Bell shut their doors several years back as they got a lucrative contract to make grenade launchers for the gov't and they moved to MO. Starline 50-90 has been available for a few years. I just bought 100 last week.  ;)  It's better than Bell brass anyway.

Who had the Starline? I called Starline and they did'nt have any yet. Maybe I could get some Starline from your source if possible? The only reason I was looking for the Bell 50-90's is I am short about 10 cases to make a hundred for my 76 Winchester for making 45-75's and that would make up the difference plus a few extras for case failures.

It's been available for over two years. Google it as many vendors sell it. Buffalo Arms, Track of the Wolf, etc.

Thanks, I'll give em a shot.

I shopped around to buy Starline .50-90, and I found the "best price" (at least at the time I ordered it) from Track of the Wolf.

Google 'em and you'll probably be able to find some there. (unless they're out?)

I agree.  Just remember to anneal the brass before you start loading.

I usually do as Starline is hard. However, my 50-90 was chambered with a special reamer for bore diameter PP bullets and nothing larger. You can't even chamber a groove diameter ctg. in mine, the same as originals. The fire formed cases will just accept a tapered PP that is patched to bore diameter at the case mouth per originals so I don't technically crimp and strain the brass at the case mouth. Here's a loaded round with 473 gr. cupped base, tapered PP bullet as this was the REAL "Big Fifty" round of lore. 100 gr. Swiss Fg, two 0.510 thin card wads on either side of grease cookie. Patched bullet at case mouth is 0.500, i.e., BORE diameter:
