In my opinion at least.

Just watched "The Missouri Breaks" last night with good ol' Jack Nicholson.  I never hear it mentioned, but it's definately going on my list.  The realism is incredible.  Not much gun play, but the story is top notch and probaly more like the way things really were.  All the characters had depth, not just cardboard cutouts.  I think most folks here would enjoy it based on the comments I having been reading on other films.  If it's not at your video store, it is available on Fancast fer free.  I'm glad I found it.

I couldn't get past Brando and the worst acting he ever did.....in a career of lousy acting.

Pards,
Been a long time since I saw it, but isn't this the Western where Brando, wearing a fringed and beaded leather jacket, attends a 'wake' and he gets ice for his drink from next to the body in the casket? Another scene I recall has him shooting his big bore rifle through the outhouse door at the person inside which is then blasted out the other side.
Best regards and good viewing!
