is the stoeger imported uberti cattleman going to be just as good when compared to the ubertis that are imported by EMF, cimarron and the like?

A Uberti is a Uberti is a Uberti.  It doesn't make any difference who imports them, it's still a Uberti.  There is no difference in quality between the importers.  The only differences are that some importers may have an exclusive on certain features or finish.

My Stoeger felt much smoother out of the box them my Taylor, but now that the Taylor is breaking in, they both feel the same.

Some importers tune and finish the guns here in the USA after either parts or whole guns are sent in by Uberti.  There can be a wide difference in quality depending on who is importing the guns.
