Orignal Spencer Globe Sight

has anyone have a photo of a Spencer sporting rifle globe sight,in marcot book it just seems to be a dovetail sight with a hood this is not what i thort a globe sight looks lick over the years naming may have changed any one know more

Went looking, but this was all I could find on a Spencer Sporting Rifle ??? ???  I tried to find your "global sight".

thas the only picture they have in marcot book it says it originanaly had a hood over it could this is what they ment by globe sight

What I posted is not what you're looking for;  the globe sight was an option with an added cost on ordered Spencers.  Can't find a photo of the globe sight and hood as mentioned in the Marcot book.  I'll keep looking!
