6 shot 45 Colt conversion with ejector rod. Author suggests its a late 1800's gunsmith conversion. Said the cylinder was a replacement since the C&B cylinder is not long enough once the C&B section is milled off. Said the difference in cylinder wall thickness compared to a SAA Colt 3rd Generations is only .025
