Always remeber that scene where the bad guy bends down and picks up that pistol out of the dead guys hand and it pans to the bumper sticker, "You can take my gun when you pry it from my cold dead hands."

I didn't count the 400 or 500 that 10X has waiting for me to pick up at the match.  :o  ;D

define reserves?             Since 9/11 and living within 50 miles of D.C. I keep enough to hold off a small Army awhile......... Cowboy ammo and my highpower and shotgun ammo combined.. None of it is reserved it's for using, and replaced when used. I also served during Veitman and don't like being low on lead.

I have my wife and 3 kids all into cas. We shoot NRA CMP, IHMSA Silhouette, CAS, and 50 bmg.

I have a Dillon 650, an RCBS progressive, and 3 single stage units and occasionally have had all going at once. The kids like loading and shooting.

I have a production casting operation going and they do that too sometimes.

As far as rounds on hand... I measure them by the bucket full. 2 or 3 on hand at any time time.

;DGuess I'm a dollar short and months late on this post.  Have at least 500 rounds for everything I own except45 Colt and shotgun.  Close to 1K for military arms.  Remember komrad, come the revolution ammo will be more valuable than gold.  Last statement attempt at humor.

Mama, if someone's shooting at you you never have enough. I refuse to give an exact number of my own stocks. Let's just say in my own mind I have enough right now, but that could change at any time.

I bought a bunch of used brass so I'm trying to get rid of the off brands.  500 rounds on hand.

Before that I thought empty brass ain't worth nothing so i'd have 3K or so ready to go.

We're loading two cailbers right now so when it gets almost time to switch up the tool heads on the press we'll have somewhere in the neighborhood of 1000 rounds for the caliber that is currently on the press and we'll be down to nothing on the one that isn't.

For the side match guns we keep a couple hundred rounds around.
