The first firearm I ever purchaced when starting down this long and winding trail, many years ago was a Ruger Super Single Six. Since then that one Ruger has somehow managed to multiply into a pac and there seems to be no end in sight.

RVBHSS - 45Colt, 4 5/8", Badger Faux Ivory Grips.  These Rugers with the Black Micarta Grips
were a limited edition run of 2000 units in the year 2000
Of course, the leather is Big Ed ...

The grips really look great when they are smeared up with Holy Black Soot, mixed in with Dick Dastardly's - Pearl Lube

I got my first Ruger,  First handgun, first revolver in 1966.  I was a senior in high school - 17 years old.  A SUPER BLACKHAWK IN yes 44Mag !!!  First shot tore a chunk of skin outta my hand 

I still have it but shoot mostly RV in 45 Colt.

D R, when it's a Ruger but not a sixgun, RATS means Rugers Are the Toughest Shooters, so that "plinker" you are showing us is still one of the RATS!
