I just checked and I guess I forgot to post my RUGER BIONIC Colts 8) , so here goes

Captain Lee Bishop

Both in .45, of course! The grips are Ajax, one set accidentally ordered for a OMV and modified to fit a NMV (you have to look really close in real life tell which is which). They're a minor tribute to John Wayne, as I once handled an original Colt SAA he used in a few of his movies with fake "aged ivory" grips, and I fell in love with that look. His had a shorter barrel, but I really like the look and balance of a 5 1/2 inch barrel, so there it is.

Howdy Captain

Your guns look great , you did a nice job of fitting that one pair, from looking at the picture , you can't tell the difference in the two, I have two of the new model Vaquero's and I really love em, looks like you do too. 8)

This here is my .357.  Her name is Daisy and will never be replaced.  There is a pair of .44-40 chambered Vics that come with a double rig at the local gunshop that call my name evrey time I stroll by the case.  (OK, I don't just "stroll by", I stop and stare--and drool).  Maybe someday, but they'd always be second fiddle to this one.

Back at ya Ruger Bob :D

So you're going to your first shoot this spring , let me tell ya you're going to have a BLAST, just remember , TAKE YOUR TIME , don't get all nervous and what have ya , your there to have FUN, I THINK THERE IS TOO MUCH PUT ON THE SHOOTER TO GO FAST ,  just take your time and try to hit your target , that is and always was the most important thing in gun fighting, even Earp went up against gun fighters that were faster than he was but he had a calm about his self , that let him take the time to make sure he wood hit his victom, Fast is NO GOOD if you don't hit your target, your speed will come in time , with PRACTICE-PRACTICE-PRACTICE, Have fun RB and let us know how you do... ? ??? ;) 8)

here's a couple of mine they sure shoot purdy.I been honing my skills shooting the Old Vaquero in the local big bore league, they kinda snickered a little when I announced I was shootin' a 45 Colt but that soon subsided when I started tearin' the center out of the target to the tune of a 495 out of 500 for the high raw score of the night.the other is a 50th anniversary 44mag

Nice lookin six-guns there Mavracer.      Leo, if I had to do it again, I believe both my Rugers would be Vaqueros. I like my Blackhawk, but the Vaquero seems to fit better. Just a personel thing I guess. TenWolve, thanks for the vote of confidence and I will definately report in, probably with a lot of questions tho... have a good one all,  Bob

Thanks Tanner:
The grips are Eagle Grips. The Rugers have been tricked out by Bob Munden and I love em.

Okay, I'm a regular over at The Leather Shop, but I'm also a Ruger fan. Started CAS with a Uberti in 1994 and all it did was break on  me. So, I bought a NM Vaquero and now I have the feeling of handling a stout, reliable firearm.
Had Walt at http://www.gunfighter928.com put on some elkhorn grips.

Question: which of the Wolff hammer springs do you guys prefer? 14, 15, or other?
