Any word on a carbine next year?

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about Cimarron bringing out a n 1876 carbine in 2009? Or anything else for that matter. Thanks

Yes, Uberti is working on it. They are copying an original of Mike Harvey's. I believe they are supposed to have a sample at Shot Show. They are also supposed to have the Colt Burgess rifle for Shot Show. That's all I know of. Uberti has also started work on the Merwin-Hulbert but it will not be ready for Shot Show.

I know that the Colt Burgess is being readied for the Shot Show, but the last conversation I had in regards to the Carbine was "no." I hope Ailene's info is better than mine!

PS: I already have my name on the list for a Colt Burgess!

Colt Burgess you say? Wow! In 44wcf I hope. Either rifle or carbine would be just fine! I'm sure they'll fly off the selves.

A Colt-Burgess from Uberti? Where does one sign up for the waiting list?

I certainly hope that the .44-40 chambering will be available. The current status of their Colt Lightning rifle does not bode well in this regard.

Carbine, are you talking about the NWMP? I talked with Uberti a year or so ago and they said they were "considering it".

Be better if they offer it in .45-60 as well.

The word is out I just read on the gun review forum about the carbines and the Burgess from Cimarron at the shot show .
