Anyone tried the new Kirst "colt type" ejector on their Remmie?

Every since I saw the fella using a converted Remington with a colt type ejector on the "Quick and the Dead" I've been tring to figure out an easy way to do it. Now I see Kirst is making them. I know they aren't "authentic", but then again I've got pictures of things like original 1860 Colts cut down with a "birdshead" grip on it. So someone was making them then, whether it was a blacksmith, gunssmhit, or whoever. All I know is, I have the Original type ejector on my New army conversion, and if I lived back then, I'd be tring to get a colt ejector installed!!

I have one and it is a wonderous thing! Walt did a great job of making it fit and it couldn't be simpler to install ;)

Yes, they  are easy to install and work great.  They are spring loaded so you don't have to pull back after ejectiing every round as you do on the standard Remington Ejector.

See my post in SCOORS of Sept 18th it has some photos of it mounted on my Remmy.

Yep! That's it! I'll have to contact them and see if it will work on the newer ubeti new army conversions also. If so, I'll change it out too. Thanks!

Concerning the Colt Type Ejector for the 58 Remmy it is an easy installation and I should have mentioned you can install it and leave the Rammer on, or if you wish a more Colt Type look you can remove the rammer and use a clip to hold the ejector and cylinder pin  in.

Gives a whole different appearance.

As you can tell, I like it and it was worth waiting for.
