I've been down all weekend with a bad case of flu.  It's really icky (yes...that's a manly word!) and has kept me mostly in bed for three days.  Well, here it is, Sunday night and I'll be taking tomorrow off as well.  I don't want to infect my staff!  So, here's the situation.  I am bored out of my skull.  I've slept enough in the last three day to last me a week.  TV really really (I mean REALLY) sucks!  I've watched just about all of my westerns on DVD.  I have a couple more to get me partially through tomorrow, but after that???  What's a cowboy to do that doesn't have the strength to load ammo or dry-fire.

Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

If you infected the staff, would that be considered a staff infection.    :o :o ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D  to late this time, but ya got to have a bag with such things as you can do packed and handy, spend the day thinkin' 'bout something like that you need for your gear or persona and make a handy grab bag or briefcase.

I have a brief case for such stuff made up where someone can grab it for me.  Wound up in the Horse-spittle on time for 2 weeks and wasn't prepared, what a pain.  I have a brief case I now keep pencils and tablet, use a couple of mechanical pencils cause pens don't work worth a poop if yer layin' down.  Also got a couple of books and a bunch of quilt blocks and thread and needles.  'Course what brief case would be complete with out a couple clean pair of briefs.   ;D ;D

While yer at home, plan and put together such a kit, if you never need it fine, but if you do and don't have time to put it together, you'll be glad you did.  It even goes with me on trips to the ER, ya never know, sometimes the keep ya.

Dang, IROT, I wish I had known. I would have FedEx'd some yarn to you. With a simple phone call, you'd be knitting!!

If you sewed, I would have sent you fabric. Or I could have sent you the beads and wire to make some nifty hatbands!

Have you got enough ammo loaded?

Want some more suggestions?

Get well Red, I hate the sick thing myself,

Well if your too weak to dry fire then I guess setting up a target and shooting wax bullets in your garage is out..... Guess you will have to do that web site you always wanted to build and or poke your head in here once in a while and wake everyone up.

I know, how many cards out of a deck can you toss in your Cowboy hat from, let's say, 10 feet away???? ;) ;D

Seriously, IROT, when I feel lousy, like my brain is filled with cotton balls, and physically not worth anything, I often spend some time at this game site:

The games aren't too tasking, and there's something sweet, innocent, and nice about the whole thing, which seems to add to my enjoyment of playing them, especially when I am sick.

Red, I came down with it a week ago today and still not up to snuff.  I did gp to work today but I'm as weak as a newborn..  I stayed in bed most of the first 5 days.  I read some and then get drowsy.  Sleep for a couple hours and then read some more.  I didn't hardly eat for the first 3 days.  Doc said it was a good thing that I got a flu shot or I'd a had it worst ::).  If I'd been any worst I would rather been dead.  Since I am diabetic getting the flu can be dangerous.

I hope you feel better soon  Pard.  Then again I hope I feel better soon ;D

This probably doesn't help, but a co-verker is out with the flu, also.  :(

Oh, wow, you've completed Theresa Wentzler's Castle!! It's gorgeous! Did you use the filament with it?

My first try at it was destroyed in a fire. I have the second kit, someplace.

I also see you are working on the carousel. How's that one coming?
